Quills and rhythms

I don't really write much any more, hardly at all. But when I was younger I wrote oodles of rubbish that was trite and pointless. It was technically sound, though. I got better and received wisdom is I got quite good, although never considered it for career success!

I used to go and do open mikes and stuff and have yet to find anywhere interesting enough round here.

Soooo... does anyone else dabble with quills and rhythms?
