I was looking around the forum and found this Reputation Why dose no one use it?

I assume we don't have it switched on ... perhaps for the best... don't know what reputation Bonj would have... after all he comes out with some real gems ... its always worth reading his posts.

I don't think I would want to give negative reputations - everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

We have a rep points system like this on the photography forum, (but no negative), although there isn't a P+L and there are nowhere near the erraneous minds or quick tempers sometimes found on here

What's the word often used - Bundled, IIRC

Perhaps it is not easy to unbundle it, but perhaps you can just not use it!
You may infer that I am not advanced in technological terminology.

Tends to lead to problems on phpbb places that use it in my experience.

I read about rep. in the faq a few weeks ago... And came to the same conclusion - It must be switched off. A lot of forums have the standard FAQ's that come with the board software.

That said, I think it would be a good idea.

I also came across a forum recently that had renamed "rep" to "karma". Also a nice idea.

But not the way it is done on LFGSS. Someone will say something stupid which isnt funny and then another person will put back, "Repped"

NO-ONE on this forum is worthy of any reputation, that's why it isn't used.
If they were, then you might have a reputation, but no-one has.
