So is anyone thinking of going to this? I fancy it, done a few of them that have been at events I was at anyway. But not wanting to go and know noone there! There must be quite a few of us round Manchester way!

I'd go, I went to their first one up here on my own and it was a good night - even if someone did manage to get it called off halfway through by breaking one of the stands, but I'm away.
Assuming I get some route advice that is.

It's a race on fixed geared bikes on rollers especially designed. basically you race over 500m and get a time. Then they have knock out races till the final when they race over 1000m.

I am sure someone can describe it better than me though!

I believe that you are alowed to do this in places other than manchester, its just beter there because people dont raise an eybrow at people yakking up.
