Just a thought for ya... How about stopping one of the scrap metal vans that trawl the strrets and seem to be full of BSO`s. They have to have one that fits, you might even get a new saddle for £1 with it!

Good idea, but for £7 I went to eBay

I might be able to help you out.
My recent purchase (the Genesis Croix de Fer) had a badly chipped seatpost. The company sent me a new one, so I have it kicking about in the garage.

I'll measure it tonight (best guess with a metal rule) and let you know.
