Yes the notoriously bad shimano 200gs is now strongly tipped to win the all time worst ever gear / derailleur kit.award. Not officially announce but the bookmakers have stopped accepting bets in this category so its safe to congratulate the shimano designers for this brilliant achievment. Bravo. Shimano designers take a bow.

Oi! My first proper MTB had 200GS and it was fine! in fact, more that fine, it was brilliant!

Like this but with fluo yello forks and no rack or bar ends. mint it was.

Hey dont shoot the messenger. Your 20 year old diamondback may have given a good account of itself despite its shoddy gear system but the inquiry commisioned jointly by the g20 states and the nato chiefs of staff unequivocally states that the 200gs is completely unacceptable and a manhunt is currently ongoing as we speak for the designer at fault , the news wires are already predicting that said unfortunate has been terminated resisting arrest with a weapon that subsequently turned out to be a cheese and mayo sub.
