Shimano Freehub to fit R550 rear wheel

Hi all,

Need something to fit my R550 wheel. It currently has a 11-32 rear cassette (Tiagra). Not 100% if you can get anything other than a Tiagra freehub to fit, maybe?

Is it the cassette or freehub you are talking about replacing?

The freehub.

Is R550 the wheel model or the hub number. The hub number is usually found on the hub and will correspond with the freehub you need.

It was my thinking that I could possibly stick any Shimano freehub on the bike. The R550 is the wheel model.

I thought that when I needed a new freehub. The short answer is no you can't. Quite a few freehubs are interchangeable but many are not.

Look on the hub for an identification like FH-RMxxxx or similar.

Suppose that will do the job haha. Didn't look very far, was hoping I'd pick one up for about £20.
