Show us your Christmas tree

Our 14 year old daughter decorated both our trees this year, I think she did a fine job.

I have guests coming for Christmas arriving on Xmas eve.

I have a plan in mind to let them decorate the tree when they arrive.

That's the right time to put one up, then down on 12th night.

I think Mrs JtB is trying to tell me something, she knows I don't like Christmas decorations and yet she's put up 3 Christmas trees this year.

Another edit: I've just mentioned this post to Mrs JtB and she informed me there were 2 smaller Christmas trees I didn't even know about, so that's 5 in total - Arghhhh.....

Stars on the top of the trees seem to be popular. We install a broken one-armed china fairy in a tutu that dates from the 1930's. She's about three inches tall but is still resting in a battered trunk in the loft, wrapped in yellowing old newspapers.

The piano is in the drawing room, and I think the Aga is in the east wing somewhere, though I've never had cause to go there.
