I did a story a few months ago about the British Tarantula Society's annual show, where they had 20,000 tarantulas under one roof. It was all new to me, but tarantulas are really interesting and beautiful creatures. And they make great pets.

Had this guy living in the sunglasses holder in my car...I left him alone until he started putting webs all across the interior then I evicted him lol

Can't send a photo, but my bedroom's over the front door, and just after munchkin minor shut the door on her way out this morning I heard the "AAAARGH! You little %%456£&6^er!" - the invariable sign of walking into an overnighter web...

My ex used to keep tarantulas. I lost any fear of spiders I may have had when a 6 inch avic (like the one pictured) escaped and we had to catch it. They're bloody fast!
