Sorry but could not think of a good title.
This is just an excuse really to tell the world about a new song I really love.

If I say Sophie Ellis-Bextor, I am sure you will think of over produced light disco stuff from about 10 years ago.
New single is out and is rather different. I cannot get over how good it is (OK I have a bit of a soft spot)

I'm quite impressed with Billy Joe Armstrong's duet album with Norah Jones covering the classic Everly Brothers album "Songs our daddy taught us".

I'll say Terry Hall from ska punk to a very good euro-torch singer.[/quote]
I'll give you a like for that if you take Bono and Sting out the other post.

From a pop throwaway she morphed into a sophisticated noveau cutting edge techno. From there she butterflied into a global emote of a sensation that brought the world to its knees and rocked it off its axis. That in turn forced de Klerk to understand the emoting of the star angels and release Mandela. Without her it would never have happened and the black would still be under the jackboot of the white capitalist heel.

sob For me she's up there with all the greats - Bono, Sting, Mandela, Gandhi, Jesus and Mohammed
