I’ve simplified the automated moderation system and at the same time removed the ban action in favour of using the post moderation queue.
If you receive a reminder note from a moderator it will now stay on your account for 12 months and if you accrue five or more active ones your account will be placed in moderation (you may also be manually placed in moderation at the team’s discretion).
Once in moderation your forum posts will be reviewed by the moderator team before appearing on the site (and may be edited or declined depending on the content).
Your account will remain in moderation until the team feels it is appropriate to reverse it.
This replaces the previous system of automatically banning and closing accounts - which will now be decided on a case-by-case basis.
