I have very recently acquired a well worn Ribble winter bike, and on inspection decided that it might be prudent to replace the forks - they are probably OK, but the finish around the fork crown is flaking - oxidation of the alloy I suspect, but I don't really know their history. So I only started searching a couple of days ago!
