Sore Nips

Anyone else suffer with this painful condition sometimes? If so, what's the best method of prevention? I only suffer occasionally on very long rides. I was thinking plasters, what do you reckon?

I'm not sure where my nips are let alone whether they are sore or not!!

It's a proper cycling top, Northwave one made of 100% polyester. No problems usually. It was a particularly windy day so that didn't help matters, and I did a century ride which is extremely rare. Plasters in future for long rides I think!

What about micropore tape? Hopefully sticky enough to remain attached but maybe not so sticky that you will get a chest wax when removed!

GT85 is worth a try, but failing that I always carry one of those chapstick thingies on chilly days and apply liberally as and when necessary, but be careful where you do it. I did it in a cafe car park recently and was getting some very odd looks from a couple of older ladies.

I only suffer with this on one nip..
i use vaseline as others have said..just a small dab works a treat.
