SRAM 2 Speed Automatix?

Anybody experienced the SRAM 2 speed automatic hub gear? An interesting concept and would slot into a single speed bike without spoiling the aesthetics of additional cables and levers.

But it all adds up to a pricey (£160 ish) back wheel to get it built up. Is it worth it?

Whether it's worth it or not is down to your circumstances, it adds weight, only gives a slight reduction, & takes getting used to, by all accounts, from people who have reviewed such 2 speed autos.
