I'm intrigued by what sort of things you are saying. I would take an 8 year old on most of those roads but I didn't like the car lined road for other cyclists as I wouldn't trust a lot of people to stay away from the car doors, the fact that I would cycle well away from the doors means I wouldn't mind cycling down there myself.

But I'm assuming that a new cyclist wouldn't like some of those situations that I didn't have a major problem with. And some of the paths looked a little narrow if you are wanting to increase cycle use.

It's not about getting me to cycle and those used to cycling on city roads but how do you increase cycling in those groups that aren't cycling.

Done - interesting survey that one. Thanks for posting!

Did my best not to answer based on the picture, but by the description. Most of the pictures were of dangerously bad cycle lanes...what a surprise :-(

Done.
Had to point out the 20mph speed limit is rarely observed - here anyway.
The narrow road with cars parked both sides is one I've got locally, I avoid it at rush hour. It needs strong primary, still you get beeped and close passed.
