We have just had a late call from the HA to book our inspection so we can move house. He's coming on Wednesday (not tomorrow) and the appointment takes 2 1/2 to 3 hours. It's a tiny wee flat!!

He basically comes to count the walls and inspects and surveys any structural changes that we might have made. Apart from the paint on the walls, we've made no changes to this place at all. It is exactly as we took it on - except that the walls are magnolia instead of bloody red and dark poo brown in the living room and bedrooms, gin bottle green was in the bathroom. They have to check the gas while they are here. It's a formality really but nowadays there are new legal requirements for the HAs and Councils.
It's one step nearer to the move anyway.

Hello..back again. Been geeking a bit with an old Netbook, it's had four different OS's on it this afternoon.. Sorry, that's probably a bit foreign in here..
I used to have a laptop with only Ubuntu (Oneric Ocelot) on it, although I've never dual booted a pc...
