What a lot of negativity on here! As some have said maybe it helps if you lived through the period but I'll out myself as a fan. They were just so different to anything else around at the time. When I was about 8 I remember them playing at what was then the Finsbury Park Astoria, just up the road from where we lived at the time. I was desperate to go but my parents said I was too young Apart from their actual music so many other artists have been influenced by them.

It's an age thing. It's hard to appreciate the impact they had on my generation but that's no reason why that should make you go and see a film about them.
