Wheel write off?

I think i know the answer but i thought i would ask the experts on here.
One of the spoke nipples has come through the rim of my Mavic Aksium rear wheel, see pics. Can this be repaired? The wheel is about 13 months old, do you think id get any sort of warranty repair from ROSE/Mavic ?

You could try a washer of sorts behind the eyelet as the rim seems to be ok .

You can add a spoke nipple washer

Always worth asking- they may give you a bit of cash back or money off replacement as it's outside guarantee but still reasonably new.

Mavic offer 2 year warranty on their wheels, so take it back to shop.

I bought the bike from ROSE bikes based in Germany. I'll send them an email and see what they say.

It's dead, as you say check the warranty. Rose are good to deal with, but it may take a little time to resolve.

But clean it all up and take a new photo or they might think you've neglected and even abused it.

Rose sent the wheel onto mavic and they have sent me a new one c/w tyre :-) can't fault the service.
