Where can I buy one of these?

I am trying to buy a smoke alarm identical to the one in the link below.

The battery on my alarm is now flat and cannot be replaced, albeit it lasts for years.

The reason I want the same model is mine is screw mounted to the ceiling of my static caravan.

Mounting anything in a static can be difficult because of the generally flimsy nature of the construction.

A different smoke alarm will involve drilling new holes, using plugs that might not hold, and may also leave the existing holes on show.

I've tried a few of the mainstream retailers - Argos, B&Q etc - but none have this type of alarm.

Can anyone save me the trouble of further research?

I've never been keen on that stuff, but it is certainly an option.

The ceiling is made from textured board, but the texture is quite fine so tape should stick.

I'd still rather do a like for like replacement.

That could also work, assuming the footprint of the new alarm is bigger.

Most I've seen are circular and I doubt they would cover the existing holes, although I've not done any measuring.

It's the one in the third small pic on the right, under the bigger pic.

Looking at the datasheets for each alarm, they all appear to be circular.

Mine is battery only - no mains back up.

Interestingly, they do have an identical carbon monoxide alarm to the one which is also mounted on the ceiling of the caravan.

That is good to know because the battery in that alarm may be on the way out.

I have one exactly the same as the one in your link but it takes a 9 volt battery. You can have it if you want it's a spare I will be happy to post it to you

These look very similar, although mine has a rectangular hush button in one corner of the front casing.

Good chance the mounting is the same.

I have an aversion to ebay, so may well click the button on the Amazon one.
