Not sure how far TDF riders would get on your version of EPO. Maybe you should ask in Touring and expedition if any long distance forumers have tried it instead of cakes and cereal bars?

Perhaps it could be a punishment. Take EPO and you get banned from taking food and just have to have primrose oil instead in a race.
