Hello,
Is this bike a good mountain bike for general commuting but also trail use.
Many thanks,
Breton.

Looks to be an excessive amount of exposed seat post?

Yes true!
The seller has just told me that the bike has been sold which was rather enfuriating.
I do however like the look of a Land Rover bike.
Do you have any info on it.
Many thanks.

I'm not so much thinking of sizing Colin, but wondering how much of the standard 350mm post is left inserted into the frame. Surely can't be more than 5 or 6 cm in there.

The only land rover bikes I've seen up close have looked pretty naff!
Oi! I've got a land Rover bike, it's my hefty Boris, he's a big boy!
Joking aside, they are heavy bikes, pretty solid though.
I guess as a proper MB you could buy lighter frames with better components.

Unless it's a peugeot I'd tend to agree. The only land rover bikes I've seen up close have looked pretty naff!

Yes, another poorly-judged licensing deal given that Land Rover is a premium vehicle brand.

Having said that, the couple of Land Rover bikes I saw were about £300 and about what you would expect for that money.

Yes, a very long seat post would be needed; something like THIS.

There is enough length in the seat tube to the bend in it to fit that extra length of post in.
