So.......tomorrow we say a sad farewell to Jugen Clopp.
As a lifelong Lpool fan I will really miss him. Lots of football fans will miss him as a breath of fresh air.
TBH I will shed some tears as my wife (passed away in June) was a massive fan but won't be here to witness it, really sad.
I was here for the Shankly era and what a character he was.

My mate who has no apparent affiliation with the club, as you say will be sad to see him go and did hope he would go out with a bang by winning that league. I on the other hand had no particular feelings either way, but I do understand that you are witnessing a milestone without your wife, and for that I truly sympathise.

While in a pub last night for a birthday party I noticed a bloke with a Bolton Wanderers navy blue away shirt on. I only spoke to him briefly, about some non football related thing. When I got home I wondered why he was wearing such a shirt. On looking at the BBC football page I now see why. I seriously didn't know Bolton had played that day and if I had started a football conversation no doubt I would've mentioned Accrington and Blackburn which wouldn't have gone down too well, probably resulting in me receiving a :B)! Bolton will be kicking themselves as they've missed out on derby matches against Blackburn, Burnley and Preston, to say the least!

I think there is some real money in the CL for Celtic next season.

Which is even more disappointing given our investment and performance.

Yeah, the figures don't include UEFA payments, that's all just domestic revenue.

Doncaster is such an imposter it's unreal. We've started cup competitions with no sponsors which is ridiculous. There's more demand in Scotland for football than Norway and Denmark (who we're roughly comparable to population wise) and yet they have a far better TV deal.
