What gig did you go to last night?

James Blunt at the Royal Albert Hall, Tuesday night.

It does seem a few people don't like him/say his music is miserable (something he makes light of himself) but honestly, he was absolutely staggeringly good. Even my good lady wife (who struggled to remember pretty much anything he'd sung) was blown away by the gig. Struck lucky with tickets (5 rows from the front) and we had not been to the RAH before, which actually made it better for us in a way, because it's such a stunning place.

I went with some work colleagues to see JB in Manchester just before Covid hit, and completely concur - he was bloody brilliant.

Another colleague of mine saw Bryan Adams in Sheffield last night and she sent me a few video clips this morning. He’s still got a great singing voice and stage presence. 👍

I went to see the Friendly Fire reggae band on Saturday. Not only were people wearing sun glasses in a dark room but one person was wearing AirPods!

The daughter has told me that Hayseed Dixie are coming to perform in Huddersfield (we've seen them at the 'Picturedrome' in Holmfirth)
Wife enjoyed that gig, but to my surprise, daughter says she might come with us, if I do buy tickets (note; not her buy her own ticket.....)
It's not till October though
