A question.
Why grate the cheese instead of slicing it....it is a real pain to clean the grater.
Also..... I like corned beef and I like clolmans.....not sure they go together though.

Easy, grated cheese has a far greater surface area so more of the flavour is there, commercial places found this out years ago and found that about half as much cheese was needed, plus for those of us 'old uns' you're not eating too much 'bad stuff'

Plus it tastes nicer..........................and how difficult is it to clean a grater, quick wipe (in the right direction) and they're clean

Smoked salmon with bacon is a favourite.
I have nothing against farmed salmon and the farms provide work for many in remote communities. My younger son got his first real job on one which led him on to other things.
The fish farm thing, is a whole other discussion, but your right about the opportunities it can provide in areas with very few alternatives.

The box style ones are a faff, but flat ones like this are quick and easy to clean with a brush:

Box style ones are easy, reach inside and clean smooth side. Then brush upwards on outside. Or we just stick it in the dishwasher. When I could eat cheese, I grated a whole block and stored in a container with a lid. Easy cheesy
