Mt Macedon is roughly 50km west of Melbourne, Australia, and peaks at 1025m. The eastern approach to the mountain has a few steeper sections like this one. On this day, I'd ridden 200km from Parkdale (SE of Melbourne, where I lived at the time) to Mt Macedon and back.
