The Flying Scot Continental 1956

Bought as an unknown frame at a car boot sale. After researching various makes on the internet I came across a Flying Scot head badge which had the mounting holes positioned vertically and what looked like the right distance apart. Further research into the make revealed that a distinguishing feature of the FLYING SCOT was a shield shaped reinforcement fitted to the inside of the fork crown. I discovered the frame number consisted of a number followed by a letter.
