If stem is completely stuck you could try this:
saw through stem just below handlebars so that handlebars don't get in the way
pull forks out of...
Red one - new Tange Levin headset, also possibly bottom bracket, bar tape, chain, grease and autosol for cleaning up ally bits...
I used to lust after a Cobra in my teens - I seem to remember a catalogue where it was available as just a frame.

Unlike the OP bike, I couldn't see any brakes/cables on the liberator examples.

I say old chap - have you seen the prices! rear derailleur not too bad but brake levers at £130+ a go :eek:
