Heard this on Radio 4 on Sunday...
A doctor, an engineer and a banker are discussing which of their professions is the oldest. The doctor says "Well, on the the sixth day, God took a rib from Adam to make woman - that was surgery, so doctor goes back to the sixth day of creation".
The engineer says "Ah, but before that, God created order from chaos and confusion, which is what engineers do, so we were around before doctors...."
They both look at the banker, who thinks for a moment, and then says:
"Ah, but who do you think created the chaos and confusion?"
