A new helmet camera is going to be released by Contour very soon, it is the ContourGPS, which seems to be the Contour 1080p with added GPS functionality. Seems to be priced at £370 in the UK but only $350 in the US.

Sadly no standard for embedding GPS details into video streams yet (like EXIF for JPG etc) so any thing with this will be pretty much proprietry, and from what I heard it will only work with the vholdr site currently. If it can export a GPX(etc) track along with the video then at least that is one thing (specially if it will split it with video segments).

Sadly...

1. Battery life will suffer
2. Someone with "enough money" to buy this most likely will have some kind of GPS on their bike anyway (not assuming this is ONLY for bikes).
3. GPS "tracker" bugs can be had for next to nothing.
