Does such a thing as a collapsible/telescopic spanner or such like exist?

The pompino doesn't have quick release, the wheels are secured with bolts. So I want to carry a spanner with decent leverage in my seat pack.

When I had my old bike I used to carry one of these.

Try a Surly Jethro Tule (shaped well for a short tool) or the Fiskars/Gerber Cool Tool. I've never seen a collapsible or telescopic spanner for this sort of thing.

I used to shift wheel nuts with the cheap as chips spanner that used to come with repair kits, the piece of metal with the holes cut into it, you wanted gloves and a strong arm or careful foot

and some knuckles you were happy to skin, been w hile since I saw a wheel without QR

I carry one of those dumbbell spanners too - nicely sized and v. handy for the more elderly (i.e. pre-allen key) bike. Only prob I have with it is the need for a 16mm spanner for rear wheel nuts.
