Right I know your all sick of these but.....

Im looking for a new bike, around the £1000-£1300(max) mark and im pretty much made up on the tcr advanced 4 2010.
However do people think id be better off getting the new TCR aluminium? they guy in the giant shop in liverpool was trying to sell me the TCR Composite 2 but i canny afford that soo... what do ya'll think? Open to other bike suggestions.

To be honest, that Advanced 4 looks hell of a bike for the money, I'd nab one quick, but let's see what others reckon.

well that's what i thought. The aluminium one looks good but i just like the idea of carbon.

Don't buy blind under any circumstances. The pleasure of buying the bike you think you want will rapidly turn to disillusionment when that same bike gives rise to even the slightest niggle. (As in, "I bet that other bike does this better").

How do you know you want, or even like a bike you have never ridden?

What about, if i get it from wiggle and do there 1 week test ride thing, that might be the only way of riding it. unless i can convince my local giant stockist to sell me a 2011 model for 1200 quid.
