Ok i only have one good eye.And the past few months i have been having blurred vision in my good eye.Mainly objects far away.ie a car coming towards me.The number plate is blurred until close up.So i have got new specs.Had two lots of drops from the Doctor.Had my specs re-checked and the lenses reangled.Eye feels slightly swollen and dry.Doc can see nothing.Optician thinks it could be caused by hayfever.Which i never get.But it is becoming a nuisance having to blink all the time.Pulling the skin at the corner of my eye which has now become a habit.Any ideas?Sorry not a joke.

Get thee firstly to an optician/doc again without delay. If things aren't improving ask those who are supposed to be trained in these things what to do next. Get back to the doc - ask for a referral to an eye specialist at a hospital if you're really worried. As for hay fever, just because you've never had it before doesn't mean you can't get it now. We can develop allergies as we get older.

Thank you for the advice.Today went into Leeds to have a drink with one of my work colleagues. On the bus journey i could not see street sgns clearly. So with my mate in tow, back to the opticians.Guess what? new lenses are too strong so they are to be altered. Also three foreign bodies missed before have been found under the folds of my eye lids.Despite a good attempt today i will have to go to a Leeds hospital to have them removed.Would you believe that.I want to say a big well done to Specsavers.

you should check for high blood pressure as well. Also reactive arthritus (virus) can cause bladder/UTI infections .This in turn causes de-hydration and will make your eyes feel dry and a bit sensitive to light.
Other symptoms are getting up in the night for a pee and feeling very tired
