Website now says

"A check of the whole route will be made later this morning (Friday). The decision on whether or not to go ahead will be made at around 5pm this afternoon, after consulting the cafe proprietors and our volunteers."

Fingers crossed (one way or the other

Just drove my car to the bottom of the hill on which I live to guarantee an early and safe start in the morning for this. Slipped over constantly on the walk back up due to the combination of left over snow , and tonight's big freeze. Having cracked a rib in December coming off near Evesham in icy conditions, I'm going to have a lie in.

Just be safe all you doing this

All togged up. Had breakfast. Opened front door. Not sure I can even make it to the end of my road safely, let alone out to Kidderminster and round.

Perhaps today is not the day to give up my audax-virginity.
