Food for thought....

I recorded the BBC programme, Meat, a threat to our planet but have yet to watch it and I had no plans to watch the channel 4 version but I've just downloaded it and will watch it later.

I think its more an age thing than an environmental thing, but I was a committed meat eater for 40 years or more but for at least the past 5 or more years I have been trying to reduce my intake for all sorts of reasons.

Saying how meat killed the planet, past tense, is somewhat over the top. If this were true, there's no point in showing the programme it's already too late! This kind of exaggeration rightly feeds skepticism.

There's simply too many of them.
