... just heard on the radio that the A233 at Biggin Hill is closed due to an accident. Just checking that you (and any other CC'ers from that neck of the woods) are OK.

Not me mate, thanks for asking though. It's the only main road into and out of Biggin Hill, so an accident closing off the road means major disruption all around. All the alternatives have some sections of singletrack country lane.

Very sad, just had a look at the flowers and tributes up in Leaves Green, just north of the garage there. Kawasaki Ninja apparently, lost it round the corner after running from the police.

Very touching and beautifully done tributes, brought a tear to my eye.
