Berlin to Copenhagen

I was wondering if anyone has ever cycled Berlin to Copenhagen? I hear there is a well planned route between both these fantastic cities. If so, it would be great here some of your thoughts and experiences from this.

I have not followed the "route", preferring just to wing it, but would not see any difficulties, both Germany and Denmark are pleasant places to cycle. The Rostock - Gedser ferry is cycle friendly and would not need to be pre-booked, I doubt they will even ask to see your passport.
