Bike fell over against a brick wall, scraped the shiny new headset, I only put it on a couple of weeks ago.

I could crush a grape!

Bad luck TBM. The shinier the component, the stronger its attraction to hard grinding objects (in my case, the road )

And by the way, being cruel to grapes is not the way to go. You'd hate yourself in the morning.

After this morning's spin I can report that despite the major damage sustained the bike is still just about rideable.
