I know nothing of the incident but I do appreciate your frustration and perhaps even anger. I have to say though that I reckon you're going about this the wrong way and are on a hiding to nothing.

In all fairness, what kind of reaction did you expect on that Police Oracle forum? Clearly they cannot comment on a specific case of which they have no details.

Comments on a particular case were not wanted.
It was comments from those within the service on the actions of others. Whether this sort of thing was "normal" practice.

But as with the force that got me asking the questions, awkward questions are simply avoided. So at least there is a standard there.
