Yup, but it was 5 from his teammate, Chris Sutton, who wasn't going to challenge him.

It'll do the world of good for his confidence levels methinks. Doesn't matter what the tour, a win's a win and they all look good on the palmares.

Captain's orders I guess, though I'm sure Sutton wanted to win just as much as Wiggins. Apparently, his dad won it in 1984. I guess he wouldn't have been too unhappy if BW had punctured or somesuch then!
