I've not got any failed bridges in my photo collection but on a recent ride crossed the one below which is a brand new replacement for the original that was damaged in the 2007 floods and collapsed when repair work started:

This one at Avignon. It didn't register at first what I was looking at when I arrived at the river and looked at it.

I was genuinely disappointed when I realised that I was looking at the remanants of the pont d'Avignon. I was expecting a whole bridge.
