Bristol Routes for newbies

Hi, me and the mrs are looking for some beginner routes in and around the st. george area of Bristol. The Bristol-Bath route looks ok, but i was looking for a shoter route to start with, any ideas?

The B-B route would be good, you are pretty close to it (?), it's nice and flat, and you don't have to do the whole thing if you don't want to - perhaps Warmley and back? Welcome to the forum btw
