Watch out for some of the imitation Buffs. I have one, it is similar material, but slightly shorter, because of this (or my big head) I can't do some of the fittings. Still I didn't buy it as a balaclava.

Got the barbed wire one (think it's called spines). Very quickly turned into an essential item, especially in winter!

I've got a fluorescent one. Haven't had it long, recommended by 515mm, it's become "de riguer" in this weather!
