Hi folks,
I've just bought what I thought (from the advert which didn't have particularly good pictures) was a Triomphe LX rear derailleur, or at least what I assumed was likely a Triomphe S3 fitted with the cage off a Victory S3 LX..... however what's turned up is definitely a Triomphe body, the cage is significantly longer than the short-cage Triomphe I have sitting on a shelf in my shed, but the cage is built in such a way that one of the jockey wheels is screwed into the base of the cage pivot, rather than being offset like every other Victory/Triomphe mech I've ever seen... The cage looks like a Campy bit the front of the cage is a very nicely finished piece of aluminium, the rear cage is pressed chrome steel but very good quality, and exactly the sort of thing I'd expect on a Triomphe-level mech.... I'll try to get some photos when I get home, but does anyone know what I've bought?
