Fortunately, the spirit of Comrade Karl refreshed me halfway up, and I wheezed to the top considerably more slowly, but happy.

Hats off to you Titus for such a well conceived route. Commentary was fascinating or hilarious (sometimes both).Thoroughly enjoyed the experience from start to finish. And thanks photoposters for sharing great pics. Delighted by the generous appreciation of cruiser bling. I love my beast of a bike, and it loves Christmas. :-)

I just want to say I have been really touched by all the lovely feedback about the ride. Have say it was a real pleasure and such a hoot to share the early hours of Sunday morning with you all.

Next year"s Christmas ride is already taking shape in my head and will centre around a Blue Plaque theme.

Don't forget Shepherd Market - plenty of 'Dickens' there over the years...even famous writers of modern times, like Jeffrey Archer found 'solace' (a funny moniker) in this cosy London square. Well done Insp. H - I'll try to do next year's.
