Basic question.

Cycle computer tells me to charge from PC (which in truth I rarely turn on nowadays)

Is it possible just to charge from a mobile phone charger with interchangeable leads or are they different ratings which may damage the computer?

Any body do this?

I have a Wahoo ELMNT and I use my Samsung Galaxy S8+ charger to charge that... I also use it to charge my light set, no issues..

If the cable supplied with the cycle computer has a male usb connector on one end and your mobile phone charger has a female usb connector then yes.

You are not limited to pc / phone charger.
You can use usb charging points in cars, trains, wall sockets etc

Yes just plug into suitable usb lead off a mains plug.

When I've went on holiday, my LEJOG and when I don't have USB socket free I've used a phone charger and its never harmed my bike computer
