For sale: Mens Classic Touring Bike: Dawes Super Galaxy.
Reynolds 531ST (Super Tourist) frame with lined lugs. 21” (53 cm) measured centre to centre.
The paint has been touched up over the years in various places. No dents or damage to the frame.
Top tube 22” (55cm) measured centre to centre.
Head tube is 10 cm.
Araya 700c alloy butted rims.
Maillard 600 super sealed bearing hubs.
Brand new Specialized 700 x 33c tyres (very comfortable).
Triple Stronglight 50 – 40 – 30 chainset.
New Shimano 6 speed block.
Cantilever brakes with new pads.
Brooks B17 Champion brown leather saddle with rear saddlebag lugs.
Full length ESGE mudguards.
Six speed Shimano bar shifters.
New chain.
Shimano Deore front and rear derailleurs.
Shimano flat touring pedals.
Rear rack & will also take a front rack.
Original Dawes full length frame fit pump.
Water bottle cage (has bottle mounts for a second to be fitted).
Also comes with the additional butterfly touring bars and stem. Very easy to convert it to this set-up. I'm a big fan of this and find it gives multiple hand positions and it's very comfortable as well.
