I 'threw away' 10 quid (accidentally)...I went through the bin but coundn't find it

Question is; Would you have gone throught the bin ?

I was doing a blitz of the house and threw away any unimportant looking papers including a plain white envelope.

The next day my other half asked where the bankers draft was for our house (it was in a plain white envelope)
She wasnt impressed but fortunately it was still in the bin.
