Differences between Patch Strip and patch

Some say the strip will glue to the tube better,
but as the pach is fairly thick (aprox 2mm), will it pinch the tube; or not stretch at the same rate with the tube when inflated causeing another puncture?

I personally would go for the strip as you can customise the size !

What is the size of the puncture you get?
If the puncture is larger than 3mm wide, isnt is better to get a new tube instead?

Stick with tip top patches.... don't bother with the strips.

If it's more than a pin prick, replace it.....
