Sorry, didn't make it clear, option 2 means 'today hh:mm:ss' for all recent posts, and don't use 'x minutes ago' at all.

Don't care really between the last two but something other than what we have now[/ungrateful]. I would be lovely to tell ... currently although it says "two minutes ago" there isn't even a clock time to say when 2 minutes ago was... (I'm sure Admin has nothing better to do with his time )

As someone who is very bad at converting the dd/mm/yyyy format into human reality, can we have posts older than 2 days old say something like 'Last Friday', 'A couple of weeks ago' or 'Last month'. who cares if a post made 2 weeks ago was made on the Thursday at 10:17:19.

I've modified the forums settings to use the 24hr time, along with date (with today/yesterday for posts within the last 48 hours).
