Purveyor of fine nonsense
I've had it laminated and selotaped to my front door for about a year now, and in that time I have only had one pushy, rude, arrogant, sod who I escorted off my property lovely person ring on the doorbell trying to sell me something!

I have watched people with clipboards walk up to my door, look at it, and walk away again.

It works! It fits exactly on a piece of A4 in landscape and can be laminated. (somewhere like staples will do the laminating for pennies).

Try it (Left-click to maximise, then right-click and "save as"):

Any tips on getting rid of Safestyle double glazing ... it doesn't matter how rude I am to them they phone up every few months ... I've told them I've already had the work done by another company (which I did) and that even if my windows were falling out I wouldn't call them etc. That they were rude, had an inferior product etc ... asked to remove my name from their list ... and still they phone up. They just offer to send someone else and check if there are any other windows they can do.... I'm tearing out my hair with them.. (still they phoned last week so I should have another couple of months of peace before the next call).

I had the same problem with them, until I told the guy that if they ever phoned again I would start posting very negative reviews of their company across the internet. It worked, and has also worked for a couple of other repeat offenders

Tell them you have registered with the TPS (Telephone Preference Service) they will be very quick to end the call. And you could also actually register. It can be done on the Net. Takes about a month to kick in and you should never get pesky sales calls again.

There is also a mail version of TPS but I don't know about a door step salesperson version.

Indeedy - TPS stopped all cold-calling completely to chateaux Mangaman - it's well worth it. (It's free - so could hardly not be worth it)

Despite being registered with TPS I've started getting a rash of calls, so now when ever I pick up I just as 'Hello'. They then ask 'Is that the Velvet Curtain?', my reply is always 'Who's calling please'. If it's someone I want to talk to then we carry on, if not I say 'hang on I'll just get him' and leave the phone on the table. Some hang on for a good few minutes before ringing off.

I had them send the rep round, then I told him at my door that I didn't want their windows AS I'D ALREADY BOUGHT FROM THEM 2 YEARS BEFORE

He seemed to get the message and they didn't call again, waist a bit of their time for waist lots of little bits of yours

I will try some of those ideas - I thought we already had TPS .. but that as we originally invited them into our house to get a quote that it didn't sort of apply (I felt sorry for the lad at the door - and thought I was just saying yes to his boss dropping a piece of paper through the letter box).
