Despite being pro-cycling's most boring tour, we should probably have a thread about it... and Wiggo's riding.

In the prologue yesterday he was 4th - Chavanel took it followed by Farrar and Boonen.

Is it surprising that Chavanel could beat Wiggo over 4 km? Maybe he's not full bore after the tour and his new body isn't so suited to short sprints.

p.s. The Tour of Qatar is surely giving the Eneco a run for it's money in the boring stakes?

Sprinters tend to do well in prologues don't they? Hushovd won one in the Tour a few years ago iirc.

I almost picked Chavanel for the prologue in PTP on bikeradar,...honest :biggrin::biggrin:

They do but Sylvain isn't a sprinter; his brother Sebastien is though!
